Who can take part
- Be 18 or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of CLL or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL)
- You have not received prior treatment for CLL (no chemo, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy), with limited exceptions
- Your CLL must meet at least one “needs treatment” reason (like low blood counts from CLL, big/symptomatic nodes or spleen, fast-rising lymphocyte counts, troublesome symptoms, or certain autoimmune issues that are not well controlled)
- Your general health must be strong enough for treatment (ECOG 0 to 2) and your blood counts and organ labs must meet minimum thresholds
- Have no major “high-risk” genetic test results (like 17p deletion, TP53 mutation, or complex chromosome changes) and be able to take oral study medicines
- You must be able to meet safety rules (no certain drug interactions, certain recent heart/stroke problems, active major infections, or hepatitis B/C that is not controlled)
