Who can take part

  • You are being sent for a lung scan (V/Q SPECT-CT) to check for blocked blood flow.
  • You have been told you might have pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) or have ongoing shortness of breath after a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung).
  • You are covered by French social security (health insurance).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are not being scanned for a new, sudden blood clot in the lung.
  • You are able to complete the full scan procedure.
