Who can take part
- You must be either a healthy volunteer or have Huntington disease (HD) with a specific mutation test result
- If you have HD: you must be at HD-ISS stage 2 or stage 3 with the required clinical scores
- If you are healthy and under 60: your MRI brain scan must look normal; if 60 or older: only mild white-matter spots are allowed
- You must be able to have an MRI and PET-MRI scan safely (for example, no MRI contraindications and you can lie still for about 30 minutes)
- You cannot have major psychiatric illness (other than HD for mutation carriers) or other major medical illnesses
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must be able to follow pregnancy prevention rules during and after the study
