Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have severe-to-profound hearing loss in the implanted ear(s) after you started speaking
- Have a CT scan after your cochlear implant surgery available for the study
- Have a MED-EL cochlear implant with a Flex28 or FlexSoft electrode, and plan to start a SONNET 2 or RONDO3 processor on the newly implanted side (not yet activated)
- Spanish-speaking and willing to complete the study steps after signing consent paperwork
