Who can take part

  • You have atrial fibrillation and it is not related to heart valve problems (nonvalvular).
  • You are Chinese and 18 to 80 years old.
  • You have been taking a DOAC (apixaban, dabigatran, edoxaban, or rivaroxaban) for at least 6 months.
  • You are planning an elective procedure where your clinician advises stopping the DOAC for 48 hours.
  • You have not had a major bleeding event or a blood clot/major stroke while on your DOAC.
