Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You have new or untreated relapsing active idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis
  • Your CT scan shows a peri-aortic mass (tissue around the abdominal blood vessels) from retroperitoneal fibrosis
  • You have signs of inflammation (like related symptoms and/or high CRP blood test, >20 mg/L)
  • You can have a PET/CT scan and a CT scan with contrast injection
  • You are able to take prednisone, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
