Imaging Study of Immunosuppression for Progressive Lung Fibrosis

Who can take part

  • Age 18–80 with chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, connective tissue disease–related lung fibrosis, or undifferentiated lung fibrosis (not IPF)
  • Starting immunosuppression treatment with mycophenolate mofetil, mycophenolate sodium, and/or prednisone for your lung condition
  • Evidence of lung scarring on a recent CT scan (within 1 year)
  • Lung function test results showing FVC ≥45% predicted and DLCO ≥25% predicted
  • No prior treatment with FDA-approved anti-fibrotic drugs (like nintedanib or pirfenidone)
  • No respiratory infection in the past 6 weeks and no smoking in the past 6 months
