Who can take part
- You have a confirmed grade 4 brain tumor (glioblastoma or related types) that has come back or grown after standard treatment, and it’s been checked as IDH “wild-type.”
- Surgery is being considered because the tumor is thought to be mostly removable.
- You’re between 18 and 75 years old, and you can do day-to-day activities at least at a moderate level (Karnofsky score 60+).
- Steroid medicine for brain swelling is limited to 4 mg or less per day of Decadron (dexamethasone).
- Your blood counts and organ tests (kidney, liver, heart, oxygen level) meet study thresholds; you also must not have certain serious infections.
- You can travel to Stanford Health Care for frequent visits and are willing and able to sign informed consent.
