Who can take part

  • You’re 18 to 70 years old, and you have recurrent glioblastoma that’s left over after surgery or biopsy at the study center.
  • You finished prior treatments (like radiation and/or temozolomide or bevacizumab or other drugs) at least 4 weeks ago, and side effects are mostly mild (no more than “grade 1,” except hair loss or a few specific issues).
  • A doctor confirms you can safely have a brain fluid shunt and a reservoir device placed (an Ommaya device).
  • You must be well enough to function independently (KPS score 70 or higher) and have an expected life span of at least 8 weeks.
  • Blood tests must meet key targets (white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, and several liver/kidney measures) taken within 14 days before blood collection; oxygen level must be at least 95%.
  • You cannot have certain infections or major heart/lung/liver/kidney/blood problems, and you must not have HIV; people who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use contraception for at least 3 months after screening through the last infusion.
