CAR-T cell therapy for grade 4 brain tumors

This trial tests a new treatment called TH-CAR-027 for people with grade 4 gliomas (a type of aggressive brain tumor) that have come back or grown after standard therapy. The treatment uses your own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to target a protein called B7-H3 on tumor cells, and then given back to you. The goal is to see if this therapy can help control the tumor.

Who can take part

  • You have a grade 4 glioma (like glioblastoma) that has returned or worsened after standard treatment, and you cannot or choose not to have more surgery.
  • Your tumor must have at least 30% of cells showing a protein called B7-H3.
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are able to walk and care for yourself most of the time (KPS score at least 60 or ECOG 0-1).
  • Your heart, lungs, blood counts, liver, and kidneys are working well enough based on standard tests.
  • You have not had a CAR-T cell therapy or gene therapy before.
