Sensory stimulation trial for nerve pain in people with neuropathy

Who can take part

  • Be age 18–80
  • Have peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage affecting the arms/legs/feet)
  • Have leg or foot pain rated at least 3 out of 10 on a pain scale called VAS
  • Have good enough eyesight (better than 6/— on a Snellen chart)
  • Be able to have MRI safely (no pacemaker, epilepsy, or other MRI safety issues)
  • Avoid getting in if you’re pregnant, have significant cognitive problems, or have current/prior psychological conditions
