Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You had cardiac arrest while already in the hospital (no pulse) and chest compressions lasted at least 2 minutes.
  • After the arrest, you need assisted breathing support (for example, bag-mask ventilation or another breathing machine).
  • Your cardiac arrest was handled by emergency or critical care teams (not a unit that didn’t respond).
  • You do NOT have orders to refuse resuscitation or intubation (tube in the airway).
