Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 65 years old
  • You can understand the study and sign consent
  • If you join as a patient, you’re currently in a major depressive episode
  • You cannot have bipolar (mania/hypomania) or a primary psychotic disorder
  • You must not have certain brain or seizure history, and you must be safe for MRI
  • You must avoid metal/implants that don’t mix with MRI, and you can’t be pregnant
