Who can take part

  • You are at least 19 years old.
  • You had a heart attack (STEMI or NSTEMI) and then developed severe shock requiring VA-ECMO.
  • Your shock started within the last 24 hours.
  • You have multiple blocked arteries that doctors think can be treated with planned primary PCI (stents).
  • There is no known cause of shock other than the heart attack (such as infection/sepsis, blood loss, or a different obstruction).
