Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 60 years old and able to sign written consent
- Be generally healthy enough for MRI scans
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding (pregnancy tests will be done before scans)
- Have no alcohol on scan days (breath alcohol must be 0)
- If in the nicotine part: use nicotine daily for at least 6 months and test positive for nicotine
- For depression-related groups: meet specific depression status rules based on a structured interview and a depression rating score
