Who can take part
- You have symptoms of a heart attack lasting at least 30 minutes.
- Your ECG shows a STEMI pattern (specific ST elevation on the heart tracing).
- You need primary PCI (emergency balloon/stent procedure) within 12 hours, or up to 24 hours if you still feel unwell or have instability/serious rhythm problems.
- After an emergency angiogram (or early during the procedure), you have a high clot burden by specific clot-scoring results.
- You can give informed consent (or a study-approved process allows it) and you can complete follow-up.
