Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have major depression that has not improved after at least two different antidepressant trials
  • Your depression severity is at least “20” on the MADRS scale (a clinician-rated questionnaire)
  • You can understand the instructions and complete required behavioral tasks
  • You must be able to have an MRI scan safely (for example, no pacemaker/metal in the body and not too claustrophobic)
  • You are not currently pregnant and are not under legal protection/guardianship
