Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a current diagnosis of a depressive episode (confirmed in an interview)
  • Score above 16 on a depression severity scale (HDRS)
  • Have treatment-resistant depression, meaning you did not get better after two properly taken, evidence-based treatments
  • Have stable depression medicine for the last 6 weeks (benzodiazepines allowed only up to 3 mg lorazepam equivalent)
