Who can take part
- You are 18 to 79 years old (not yet 80).
- Your stroke symptoms match an acute ischemic stroke (AIS).
- Imaging shows a blockage in the front brain circulation, especially involving the internal carotid artery in the neck and/or brain arteries.
- Your stroke severity is moderate or higher (NIHSS score of 4 or more).
- You can start the catheter procedure within 16 hours of symptom start.
