Who can take part

  • You must have called emergency services for suspected stroke between 8:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday
  • The dispatcher must think it could be a stroke using a stroke-screening checklist
  • Your symptoms must have started (or clearly began) within the last 6 hours
  • You must be in the specific local area where the mobile stroke team is set up, and that team must be available
  • You cannot have an unknown or uncertain stroke start time (like waking up with symptoms)
