Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM) or with AL amyloidosis confirmed by tissue testing (a biopsy).
- Your disease must be “relapsed” or “refractory,” meaning it came back or did not respond, and you’ve had multiple prior treatment types (and likely at least 3 prior treatment lines for MM or AL amyloidosis).
- You must have measurable disease at screening (based on specific blood/urine protein levels or scans showing active disease).
- Your general health/activity level must be ECOG 0 or 1 (able to carry out daily activities with little or no restriction).
- For MM, you must NOT have certain exclusions such as cancer in the brain/spinal fluid, plasma cell leukemia, or POEMS; for AL amyloidosis, you must NOT have CNS involvement, non-AL amyloidosis (like ATTR), or POEMS.
- Your heart function must be adequate: left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) 45% or higher (for AL amyloidosis patients).
