Who can take part
- You have a main diagnosis of major depression (either one episode or recurring) that is not psychotic
- Your depression score is high enough: MADRS total score is 20 or more, and your anhedonia (reduced pleasure) score is above 2
- You have been on the same antidepressant medicine for at least 4 weeks before starting
- You can speak and read French, and you agree to sign consent before any treatment
- You must not have conditions that affect smell (like congenital loss of smell, certain nose/sinus problems, recent nose/sinus infection, brain injury, or nose surgery)
