Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have depression (unipolar or bipolar) or depression-like symptoms, such as negative symptoms of schizophrenia
  • You have not responded well enough to first-line treatments or you prefer brain stimulation
  • You can give informed consent and are willing to participate
  • You do not have acute suicidal thoughts
  • You do not have certain neurological conditions or implants that would interfere with the treatment
