Who can take part

  • You are at least 19 years old and had TAVR successfully for severe aortic stenosis
  • Your heart symptoms are present, and your valve placement after TAVR was considered successful with no major complications
  • Your heart pumping strength is mildly reduced or mostly preserved (ejection fraction 40% or higher)
  • You have signs of heart strain, like thick heart muscle or an enlarged left heart chamber, and a blood marker (NT-proBNP) above a threshold
  • You have not taken an SGLT2 inhibitor in the last 4 weeks, and you don’t have an allergy to this medicine class
  • You are not currently in a dangerous heart failure flare and you don’t have certain kidney, urine infection, stroke timing, blood pressure, or diabetes conditions
