Who can take part

  • You have a sudden bleeding in the brain (supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage) shown on imaging
  • The bleed size is at least 20 mL but less than 100 mL
  • You have new, significant symptoms such as weakness on one side, language trouble, neglect of one side, or decreased alertness
  • The team can start the endoscopic evacuation within 24 hours of last being well or symptoms starting
  • Your blood-clotting status can be corrected in time (INR must be 1.5 or less, if not correctable by the procedure time, you may not qualify)
  • You did not have major disability before this bleed (mRS must be 2 or less)
