Who can take part
- You have a brain MRI showing a silent (not symptomatic) type of stroke-like injury (“covert brain infarct”)
- The MRI finding is one of the specific types they use: DWI-type, small fluid-filled cavity–type, or certain T2/ T1 pattern lesions
- You can sign the consent form (or a legally authorized person can)
- You can safely have MRI and the usual study tests like a brain/neck ultrasound
- You can follow study visits and instructions (language and memory/mental ability are sufficient)
