Who can take part
- Be 18 years old or older
- Have had a new nerve/neurology problem within the last 15 days from a small deep-brain stroke
- Have a recent small stroke seen on an MRI scan (the scan must show the specific type/location of infarct)
- The stroke area on MRI is smaller than 20 mm
- Be able to return for follow-up visits, including an annual check-up, and you have French health insurance
- Be able to sign consent (yourself or with family help, if needed)
