Who can take part

  • You have a condition affecting both vocal cords and you are scheduled for endoscopy surgery on both sides.
  • Alternatively, you have scar-like adhesion on both vocal cords and you need endoscopy incision to open it up.
  • You do not have other non–vocal-cord diseases in the larynx (voice box).
  • You should not have serious heart or lung problems that affect breathing or blood flow.
  • You must be able to return for follow-up visits on time after surgery.
  • You must be willing to sign consent and follow the study plan.
