Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (age 18 or older) with nasal polyps on both sides
  • Your nasal symptoms are severe despite standard treatment (score for each symptom adds up to more than 24 on a 0–10 scale)
  • You need nasal polyp surgery, based on specific scan/symptom scores (Lund-Mackay and Lund-Kennedy) and ongoing symptoms for at least 12 weeks
  • If you have asthma, it must be confirmed by documented history/testing (like bronchodilator response or methacholine test)
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must not be of child-bearing potential unless safety rules allow it
  • You can’t have used mepolizumab or similar biologic medicines before (or recently), and you can’t use certain immune-suppressing medicines in the recent past
