Who can take part
- You are under 18 years old
- Your kneecap has dislocated (slipped out) at least 2 times
- You tried physical therapy or other non-surgical treatments first, but they didn't work
- You don't have an active infection or inflammatory joint disease
- You haven't had previous surgery for kneecap dislocation
- Your knee structure doesn't have a specific groove problem (trochlear dysplasia)
