Who can take part

  • You have cancer confirmed by pathology (not blood cancers like leukemia/lymphoma)
  • Your treatment plan is aimed at treating or preventing spread after surgery with focused, divided radiation sessions
  • You have 1 to 3 brain metastases total, with the largest one no bigger than about 4 cm, based on an MRI
  • Your overall health is good enough for treatment (ECOG 0–2 or KPS 70 or higher)
  • You have no signs of tumor spread near the hippocampus (about within 5 mm) on MRI
  • You have no prior brain/head radiation that included stereotactic radiosurgery
