- You are scheduled for bimaxillary osteotomy under general anesthesia with a breathing tube
- Your overall health risk is low to mild (ASA class I or II)
- You can sign an informed consent form
- You should not have certain heart, circulation, anemia, or fluid-balance problems
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be under 30
- You must not be pregnant, in another study, or taking blood-thinning/heart-pressure medicines
