Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your cardiac arrest led you to the emergency room, and it happened within 60 months of the study’s approval date.
  • After circulation returned, your best early brain score (GCS) was under 8.
  • You received targeted temperature management (a cooling treatment after cardiac arrest).
  • Your prognosis days 10–14 after return of circulation suggested good outcomes (CPC 1–2).
  • Your cardiac arrest was not caused by trauma, and you did not receive ECMO treatment.
