Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You have French health insurance.
  • You are in the ICU after a cardiac arrest, and you were found in either shockable or non-shockable heart rhythm.
  • You are still in a coma on day 3 after the arrest and cannot follow a verbal command appropriately.
  • No plan has been made to stop life-saving treatments (resuscitation) for comfort reasons.
  • It is possible to record an auditory test called auditory evoked potentials (AEP).
