Newborns with CD19 leukemia may try a combined infant therapy

Who can take part

  • Your baby must be 365 days old or younger when leukemia is diagnosed
  • The leukemia must be newly diagnosed and test positive for CD19 (a lab marker on leukemia cells)
  • The type of leukemia must be one the study allows: CD19-positive ALL/acute undifferentiated leukemia (and some mature B-cell cases if there is a KMT2A change)
  • Any prior treatment must be very limited (for example, short hydroxyurea or steroids, brief cytarabine, and only one dose each of vincristine and intrathecal chemotherapy)
  • A parent/guardian must be able and willing to give written consent for the study
