Who can take part
- You’re in the ICU and age 40 or older
- A clinician has started medicines to raise blood pressure (vasopressors or inotropes) for shock
- You have one or more warning signs of shock in the last 24 hours, such as high lactate/base deficit, low urine output, fast breathing, or confusion
- You started shock blood-pressure medicines within the last 24 hours
- You are not expected to need kidney dialysis/renal replacement therapy right away
- You do not have conditions that make blood pressure targets unsafe (like certain brain or aortic injuries)
