Who can take part
- You are an adult (18 or older) and can speak/understand French for the study
- Your leg weakness (hemiparesis) is from a stroke that happened more than 1 year ago
- You have a stiff foot with the foot turned downward and inward (equinovarus), sometimes with curled toes, due to muscle tightness
- A doctor can confirm the tightness and that surgery is appropriate using a local-anaesthetic nerve test with at least a 5° improvement in ankle movement
- You have French national health insurance and can give informed consent (or a trusted person can help if needed)
