Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and able to understand and sign the consent form.
- Your colon cancer has been confirmed by a lab test as left-sided, stage IV, and metastatic.
- Your tumor test shows RAS and BRAF are wild-type, and it is MSS; you cannot have appendiceal or anal cancer.
- You have not had any prior treatment for advanced/metastatic colon cancer (no prior chemo for that purpose, no EGFR antibodies like cetuximab/panitumumab, no bevacizumab, and no immune checkpoint therapy like anti–PD-1/PD-L1 or anti–CTLA-4).
- Your health status is good enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 or 1), and recent blood/organ tests meet required limits.
