This trial tests a combination of two drugs—cetuximab or bevacizumab plus a chemotherapy pill (trifluridine/tipiracil)—for people with metastatic colorectal cancer that has no RAS or BRAF mutations. It's for patients whose cancer grew after first responding to cetuximab, and who have had other treatments since then.

Who can take part

  • You have colorectal cancer that has spread and does not have mutations in the RAS or BRAF genes.
  • Your first treatment included a drug called cetuximab, and your cancer responded well (shrank or stayed stable) for at least 6 months.
  • Your cancer later started growing again while on cetuximab or within 3 months of stopping it.
  • You have had at least one other chemotherapy treatment after your first treatment stopped working.
  • You are in fairly good health (able to do light activities) and have normal blood counts, liver, and kidney function.
