Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have one of these: brain small-vessel disease, or an acute ischemic stroke seen by the Mobile Stroke Unit
  • For small-vessel disease: you have thinking/memory complaints or a past small-vessel stroke confirmed by brain imaging
  • For Mobile Stroke Unit stroke: you were evaluated by the Mobile Stroke Unit during the study and had an acute ischemic stroke
  • You can communicate enough to take part meaningfully (or have a proxy who can help for stroke)
  • You have reliable phone access for follow-up (cell or landline)
