Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a brain bleed that happened naturally, not from an accident or injury.
  • You may be treated with surgery or medicine, based on what your doctor recommends.
  • You or a family member must agree in writing to be part of the study.
  • You cannot have other causes of brain bleeding like an aneurysm or tumor.
  • You cannot have severe bleeding disorders or be on blood-thinning medications.
