Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a 70-99% blockage in the main artery in your neck (carotid artery) that is causing your symptoms.
- Your thinking and memory test (MMSE) shows mild cognitive problems, based on your education level.
- You have not had a stent placed in your head or neck before.
- You have not had a neurological condition (like epilepsy, tumor, or bleeding) in the past 2 years that could be confused with a stroke.
