Asian data collection for CNS germ cell tumors

CNS GerminomaCNS TumorAsian Consortium

Part of Brain & nervous system, Cancer clinical trials.

This trial is creating a consortium to collect data from Asian patients with CNS germ cell tumors. It helps researchers understand these tumors better and may lead to better treatments.

NCT04684368Recruiting· Phase 2
New treatment study for children and young adults with NGGCT brain tumors

This Phase 2 study tests a new treatment approach for certain brain tumors called NGGCT in children and young adults. It may help improve outcomes by targeting tumors in specific brain locations and using tumor marker tests to guide care.

Birmingham, Alabama
NCT06368817Recruiting· Phase 2
Lower radiation dose for children with CNS germinoma

This trial will see if giving a lower dose of radiation therapy can still effectively treat children and young adults with a type of brain tumor called germinoma. The goal is to reduce side effects while keeping the cancer under control.

NCT05259605Recruiting
Study uses brain tumor tissue and scans to track treatment outcomes

This is an observational study that collects and compares information from patients with primary brain tumors and their treatment results. It uses stored tumor tissue and brain scans to better understand outcomes using updated tumor classification methods.

NCT05564026Recruiting
Study of DNA patterns in childhood germ cell tumors

This study looks at “molecular” (DNA-related) features of germ cell tumors in children and teens. It also follows patients over time, which can help researchers understand tumor patterns and improve future care.

Minneapolis, Minnesota
NCT05124951Recruiting· Phase 2
Tested a treatment for specific brain germ cell tumors

This Phase 2 trial studies WVI for children and young adults with a newly diagnosed germ cell tumor in one side of the basal ganglia/thalamus. It aims to see how well the treatment works for tumors without spread within the brain.

Beijing
NCT06323408Not yet recruiting
Understanding treatment response in high-risk brain tumors

This trial studies how brain tumors (like high-risk gliomas, medulloblastoma, and ependymoma) respond to treatment and why they sometimes become resistant. It is for young people aged 15 to 39 and aims to use tumor tissue samples to understand the tumor better and guide future therapies.
