Can a leg staging system predict treatment success for CLTI?

Who can take part

  • You have a condition called chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), which means severe blockages in your leg arteries cause pain at rest, sores, or tissue loss.
  • You are planning to have a procedure that goes through your blood vessels (endovascular therapy) to fix blockages in the lower part of your leg.
  • You are not pregnant and do not plan to become pregnant.
  • You do not have a sudden blood clot in your leg or need a procedure to remove one during the treatment.
  • You do not have a major, untreated blockage in the main artery of your pelvis on the same side as your leg problem.
  • You are not allergic to the contrast dye used in imaging studies.
