LAA clip vs. blood thinners to prevent stroke in non-paroxysmal AF

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have persistent or long-standing atrial fibrillation that doesn't go away on its own.
  • For men: your stroke risk score (CHA2DS2-VASc) is 2 or higher. For women: 3 or higher.
  • You agree to have the LAA clipping procedure done through a tiny camera in your chest.
