Who can take part

  • You have lung cancer that has spread to one spot in your middle or lower back (thoracolumbar spine).
  • There is only one tumor, and it affects just one bone or disc space in your spine.
  • You are scheduled for a type of spine surgery called a separation surgery.
  • Your blood clotting is normal (no bleeding disorders).
  • You are not allergic to tranexamic acid.
