Who can take part

  • Already have or are scheduled to get a Medtronic Astra/Azure dual-chamber pacemaker
  • On at least one blood pressure medication that is stable
  • Your office blood pressure is between 135 and 180 mmHg (systolic)
  • Your average 24-hour blood pressure is between 130 and 170 mmHg (systolic)
  • Your heart's pumping ability is normal (LVEF 50% or higher)
  • No recent stroke, heart attack, or major heart-related procedure
