Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have a moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (GCS score between 3 and 12)
  • A CT scan shows specific brain injury patterns (BIG 3)
  • You can receive the treatment within 1 hour of arriving at the hospital
  • You have no history of serious heart, kidney, liver, or lung problems
  • You have never had a bad reaction to plasma or blood products
