Who can take part
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of a specific type of vocal cord cancer (squamous cell) that is still in the early stages (stage 0, I, or II).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are in generally good health (able to care for yourself, but not necessarily able to do heavy physical work).
- If you are able to have children, you agree to use effective birth control during and for 90 days after treatment.
- You smoke no more than 1 pack of cigarettes per day.
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation for this cancer before.
