Who can take part
- You have a type of nasopharyngeal cancer called non-keratinizing (WHO type II or III).
- Your cancer is stage III or IVA (except T3N0) according to the AJCC 8th edition.
- After 3 cycles of platinum-based chemo plus immunotherapy, scans and tests show no cancer left and your EBV DNA level is undetectable (0 copies/mL).
- You are physically active and able to care for yourself (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within certain limits (neutrophils ≥ 4,000, hemoglobin ≥ 9 g/dL, platelets ≥ 100,000, liver enzymes ≤ 2.5 times normal, creatinine clearance ≥ 60 mL/min).
